Samji Joseph is a founding partner of UNILEX and a member of the firm's governing board. He graduated in law from Utkal University. Over more than three decades of practice, Samji has advised clients across a wide range of areas, including civil litigation, arbitration, corporate law, labour law, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property rights, consumer law, real estate, personal laws and banking law.
A dynamic civil litigation lawyer, he appears before courts across India. He is actively engaged in advising on policy matters, infrastructure development and the redevelopment of cooperative housing societies. He regularly conducts classes and seminars on various areas of law for corporations and non-profit organizations, and remains closely associated with several charitable organisations working for the upliftment of underprivileged communities.
Jins Thomas is a founding partner of UNILEX and a member of the firm's governing board. He graduated in law from the University of Kerala. Over more than two decades of practice, Jins has advised clients in India and the UAE across a broad range of areas, including civil and criminal litigation, corporate and commercial law, arbitration, foreign direct investment, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property rights (including patent and trademark law), media law, banking, corporate governance and compliance, construction and real estate law, labour law, and medical negligence.
In addition to his advisory and litigation practice, Jins regularly assists clients with foreign exchange regulations, corporate restructuring, and compliance audits, and drafts a wide range of commercial contracts, bylaws, and agreements. Jins has authored several articles on legal topics, including on establishing business operations in India and the UAE.
